It was such a privilege to be invited to attend Shona's Red & Black Charity Ball on the 25th October at The Cumberland Hotel, Bournemouth.

Shona embarked on a year of fundraising in aid of Smile4Wessex as a thank you for the wonderful treatment and care she received at the Wessex Neurological Centre, after suffering a brain aneurysm in May 2024.

In August this year, Shona led her 20 strong team "Shona's Survival Squad" to pull a 35 ton Boeing 737 a distance of 50m in the annual Dorset Plane Pull challenge which earned Shona our 2025 Smile4Rich Fundraiser of the Year Award at our Gala Dinner earlier this month.

We'd like to say a massive thank you to Shona for choosing to support Smile4Wessex and congratulate her on her incredible fundraising efforts, which have raised a total of £7344.32!
