On Friday 26th May, I was invited to St Peter's Catholic Primary School in Waterlooville to meet these brilliant young fundraisers who completed a sponsored swim back in February to raise funds for Smile4Wessex.

The Swim was inspired by Aaron Bennett (whose children attend the school), following his diagnosis of a 7cm brain tumour in April last year, which required him to undergo a 12 hour operation and ongoing treatment at the Wessex Neurological Centre.

I was delighted that Aaron could also join me at the special assembly, where we met the students and answered their questions, before being presented with a cheque for £756 from their swim.
